Idaho Hotels

A warm welcome awaits you at all Idaho hotels, wherever you stay and whatever you pay, the welcome mat is always out.

A great holiday always starts with a great hotel, and there are some truly great hotels in Idaho. Whether you prefer the very best of service with a little unashamed grown up luxury or somewhere cheap and cheerful to get your head down for the night, you’re sure to find something to suit your style and your pocket right here in Idaho.

There are a few things which you need to take into account before choosing your perfect base for your Idaho vacation:

  • Location – Idaho is a big area with lots of exciting things to see and do, so make sure you’re close to all of the things at the top of your ‘to do’ list
  • Best price – everybody likes a bargain, even those with pots of money (how do you think they got pots of money in the first place) so it’s important to look around and check out the prices. There are plenty of savings to be had if, say, you book online or take advantage of discounts, so don’t pay the first price you see, look around and make sure it’s the very best price possible. Just think, a 20% saving on $100 is more than a 20% saving on $50, so the more you spend, the more you save, kind of.
  • Facilities – there’s so much to see and do in Idaho, but every once in a while we all prefer to just take a late lie in and slob around for the odd day. You might want to check out the on-site facilities for those who are still feeling lively on your "slobbing" day – keeping everybody happy is the secret to a great vacation.

Idaho vacation rentals are easier to find than ever, it seems. With this new fangled World Wide Web, it seems you can find a place to stay when you’re in Idaho and still update your Facebook page. Not too shabby this computer thing. Joking aside (hopefully), when you rent a vacation rental as opposed to a hotel room or a bed and breakfast room, you finally get some privacy on your vacation. And that’s what you need. Not screaming children in the halls or less than quiet intimate time in the hotel room next to you. That is not a vacation. At all.

What’s Offered

You’re sure of a warm Idaho welcome wherever you choose to spend your vacation, and there are different types of hotels on offer, plenty to suit everybody.

Luxury Hotels – The Hilton Garden Inn Idaho Falls is in a great location overlooking the Snake River, with all of the fantastic service and facilities you would expect from a Hilton and much more. With average prices of around $120 - $165 per night, it’s pretty near the top of the tree when it comes to luxury, but many people testify that it’s worth every penny and they wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It’s got a swimming pool, fitness center and room service, so pretty perfect for those days where you simply can’t be bothered to get out and about, don’t you think?

Lodges – and now for something completely different, The 100 Acre Wood Resort (isn’t that where Winnie the Pooh lived?) is the perfect getaway for those who want to benefit from the great Idaho outdoors. This guest ranch is perfectly placed for the outdoor type with fishing and outdoor trails galore, but it’s not too "rough and ready" when you consider that you’ll get all of the comforts of home plus that little bit more, in the most idyllic water front setting you can possibly imagine.

Budget Motels – for those who are maybe just passing through and need somewhere that little bit more cheap and cheerful, there are loads of motels which can fit the bill perfectly. The Amber Inn Motel, in Bliss, for example, has 31 rooms with prices starting at around $40, a small price to pay for a clean and comfortable bed plus lots more AAA facilities, perfect for your vacation or stopover in Idaho.
